1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account data: Name, email address, password (hashed)
- Resume data: Resume content you upload for AI processing
- Interview recordings: Camera and screen recordings during interviews (only if you enable recording)
- Payment data: Payment is processed by Razorpay; we store only transaction IDs and plan status — never card details
Information collected automatically
- Usage data (pages visited, features used, interview scores)
- Proctoring data (tab switches, window focus events) during assessments
- Device and browser information via Cloudflare
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Generate AI-powered interview feedback and scoring
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Send transactional emails (password reset, interview reports)
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- Analyse usage patterns to improve features
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. AI Processing
Your interview responses, resume content, and code submissions are processed by AI models to generate feedback and scores. This processing is done via:
- Cloudflare Workers AI (Llama, Whisper) — for interview scoring and transcription
- Google Gemini — for resume parsing and question generation
We process only the minimum data necessary. AI-generated outputs are stored to show you your history.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1 database, R2 storage) with servers primarily in the Asia-Pacific region. We implement reasonable security measures including:
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — never stored in plain text
- All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
- JWT tokens for session management with expiry
- Video recordings are stored in private R2 buckets with signed URLs
5. Data Retention
- Account data: Retained until you delete your account
- Interview recordings: Retained for 10 days (mock) or 30 days (live) then automatically deleted
- Interview history: Free plan — 7 days; Pro plan — indefinite
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Export your data (interview history, resume data)
- Opt out of non-essential communications

7. Cookies
We use a single session cookie (HTTP-only, secure) to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us.
