What is Interview Remedy? ▾

Interview Remedy is an AI-powered interview preparation platform. It helps job seekers practice mock interviews with real-time AI feedback, attempt MCQ quizzes, solve coding problems, and manage the entire hiring process for companies.

Is Interview Remedy free to use? ▾

Yes! The Free plan gives you 5 mock interviews/month, 2 live interviews/month, unlimited MCQ practice, unlimited coding practice, and access to 500+ interview questions. Upgrade to Pro (₹199/month) for unlimited everything.

Who is Interview Remedy for? ▾

Interview Remedy is for anyone preparing for technical or non-technical job interviews. It's also used by companies and recruitment agencies to conduct and manage candidate interviews remotely.

Which categories are covered? ▾

We cover React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Java, SQL, System Design, DSA, HTML, CSS, Git, and non-technical topics like Behavioural, Communication, Leadership, Problem Solving, and more.

How do mock interviews work? ▾

You select a category or upload your resume, then answer AI-generated questions by speaking or typing. Our AI scores each answer from 0–10, gives constructive feedback, and generates a full report with strengths and areas to improve.

Does the AI score fairly? ▾

We use Llama 3.1-8b via Cloudflare Workers AI with a carefully tuned scoring rubric that gives partial credit, never penalises spoken grammar, and always finds genuine strengths. Scores are calibrated to be encouraging but honest.

Can I record my interview? ▾

Video recording (camera + screen) is available on the Pro plan. Recordings are stored for 10 days and then automatically deleted. Free users can still do full mock interviews, just without video recording.

How many mock interviews can I do? ▾

Free users get 5 mock interviews per month. Pro users get unlimited mock interviews. Limits reset on the 1st of each month.

What is the company portal? ▾

The company portal lets HR teams and hiring managers invite candidates, schedule live interviews, assign MCQ quizzes, view proctoring logs, and generate interview reports — all in one place.

How does the free trial work? ▾

Every new company gets a 14-day free trial with 3 candidates, 5 interviews, full proctoring, MCQ assignments, and resume AI. No credit card required.

Can candidates use their own accounts? ▾

Yes. If a candidate already has an Interview Remedy account, you can link their existing account to your company. They keep their own login and interview history.

What is proctoring? ▾

During live and mock interviews, we track tab switches, window focus changes, and fullscreen exits. This is shown in the proctoring logs so interviewers can assess integrity. Eye tracking is also available.

Can I generate interview questions from a candidate's resume? ▾

Yes. Upload the candidate's resume (PDF or paste text) and we'll use Gemini AI to parse it and generate targeted interview questions based on their skills and experience.

Are MCQ quizzes timed? ▾

Yes. Each quiz has a configurable time limit (default 10 minutes for 10 questions). The timer counts down and auto-submits when it reaches zero.

Can I see the correct answers after the quiz? ▾

Yes. After submitting, you get a full results page showing every question, your answer, the correct answer, and an AI-generated explanation for why it's correct.

How does coding practice work? ▾

We use a self-hosted Piston execution engine that supports JavaScript, Python, Java, Go, and more. Your code runs against real test cases and you get an AI review with complexity analysis, strengths, and suggestions.

Are code output questions available? ▾

Yes. We have 'What is the output?' type questions where a code snippet is shown and you pick the correct output from 4 options. These are created via the admin AI generator.

What payment methods are accepted? ▾

We accept all major credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets via Razorpay. All payments are in Indian Rupees (INR).

Can I cancel my subscription? ▾

Yes, anytime. You'll retain access until the end of your current billing period. No cancellation fees.

Is there a refund policy? ▾

Yes. Monthly Pro plans get a 7-day refund window. Yearly plans get 14 days. See our full Refund Policy for details.

Do you offer annual billing for companies? ▾

Is GST included in the price? ▾

Yes, all displayed prices are inclusive of applicable GST.

Which browsers are supported? ▾

Interview Remedy works best on Chrome and Brave. Firefox and Edge are supported. Screen recording requires a Chromium-based browser. Safari has limited support for audio recording.

Why does the interview need microphone access? ▾

Mock and live interviews use your microphone to capture your spoken answers, which are transcribed using Whisper AI. You can also type answers instead.

Is my data secure? ▾

Yes. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Sessions use secure HTTP-only cookies with JWT. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Can I use Interview Remedy on mobile? ▾

The interview question bank, MCQ quizzes, and dashboard work well on mobile. Mock and live interviews are best experienced on desktop due to microphone and screen recording requirements.
