Getting Your Company Set Up

Visit interviewremedy.com/register-company and fill in your company name, industry, and admin details. Within seconds your company portal is live at /company. No contracts, no setup fees — the free plan gets you started immediately.

Once inside, you can invite team members as Company Staff (manage their own sessions) or Company Admin (full access to all sessions and candidates). Your team structure is yours to define.

Inviting Candidates

Go to Candidates → Invite Candidate. Enter the candidate's name, email, and a temporary password. In the second step, upload their resume as a PDF or paste the text directly. This is the key step — the resume powers everything that follows.

Candidates receive their login credentials and can access their assigned interviews immediately. They see a clean, focused interface with no distractions — just the interview.

AI Question Generation from Resume

When creating a session, select the candidate and click ✨ AI Generate from Resume. Choose the categories you want to focus on — JavaScript, Python, System Design, Behavioural, HR — or leave it on "Auto" to let the AI detect skills from the resume.

The AI analyses the candidate's work history, tech stack, and role descriptions to generate questions that are genuinely relevant to their background. A React developer gets React questions. A DevOps engineer gets infrastructure questions. The questions are ready in seconds.

Running the Interview

Sessions run in two modes. Async (self-paced) lets the candidate take the interview on their own schedule — they log in, answer questions by speaking or typing, and the AI scores each answer in real time. Live mode puts the interviewer in the room virtually, controlling the flow and scoring answers as they happen.

Every session is time-limited. You set the duration — 20, 30, 45, or 60 minutes — and the candidate's timer counts down visibly throughout.

The Interview Report

Once the candidate finishes, a full AI report is generated automatically. It includes an overall score, a hire/maybe/pass recommendation, per-question scores with feedback, and a summary of strengths and areas to improve. Reports are accessible only to your team — candidates never see them.

Video recordings of async interviews are stored securely and available for 30 days. Use them to validate answers or share with team members who weren't present.
